Does a person who is possessed have any control over what they say

Q0069: Asalamalaikum A close member of my family has been diagnosed with jinn problems. He has had many Ruqia sessions and by the mercy of Allah the majority of jinn have left. The raqi has said that there is one jinni left and that it is stubborn. To what extent the jinn has control over the person I don't know. However my relative has problem with what utters from his mouth and I'm not entirely convinced it's the jinn. It seems that any time he is in a situation that's uncomfortable he will lash out. Become abusive and rude. And then in a moment apologise and blame the jinn. He expects us all to understand his affliction but doesn't take into consideration the pain he causes with his words and actions. I fully believe in jinn possession and what harms it can do but surely the person afflicted has some control over there own speech? If he can ensure his own health and well being then why not guard the tongue also? Pls explain as this causes problem and heartache in the family Jazakallah khair
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Wa alaykum as salam.

Peace and blessings be upon the final messenger Muhammed (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) his family, companions and everyone who follow him in righteousness.
