Can good jinns be used to benefit us
Q0070: Can good jinn assist good ppl? I have been told of a durs in another country that's meant to be very good. They teach Alima courses and a child would stay ther for about 6 years. However whilst being told about this the person happened to mention that there are good jinn there who are also very knowledgable and there to learn. And that's fine however it was mentioned to me that the jinn assist the teachers by telling them which student is misbehaving or not concentrating. As the teachers r male and students are female, the teacher sits behind a bricked wall with small windows which also have parda (curtain) so the teacher doesn't see the student hence the jinn pass the teacher information on the standard of student etc. pls tell me if this is allowed. Pls do provide evidence to the permissibility or not as I'm thinking of sending my child as I'm very eager to remove the distractions of the west and strive in the path of Allah. Jazakallah khair May Allah grant you a high station in jannah for ur efforts.

Every Muslim should strive to avoid having direct contact with the jinns. It is not natural to have any sort of contact or communication with the jinns. Rather this sort of action is the actions of soothsayers and magicians. If a Muslim is compelled to have contact with the jinn by no intervention of his own then this is something permissible; if it is for reasons such as doing ruqya to remove the jinn or shaytan from the body.
The only other time where it maybe allowed to communication with a jinn is if you come across them. The jinns came across the messenger of Allah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) did while on his way back from Taif and he stopped to read salah and they heard the Quran. And the communication the prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) had with them was to give them dawah. He did not call them to give them dawah. He did not seek their aid or assistance.
There is no such incidents of the salaf ever calling upon or using the assistance of jinn. Rather the Quran condemns men who used to seek refuge with the jinns instead of Allah (azza wa jall)

"And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden (sin)."
[Surah al-Jinn 72:6]
Please watch the video below for a more detailed discussion with evidences on the issue of communicating with jinn or seeking their aid or assistance.
Peace and blessings be upon the final messenger Muhammed (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) his family, companions and everyone who follow him in righteousness.
