Nightmares are often frightening and can leave a person deeply distressed. Although the general advice is not to talk about your nightmares - more often than not they can provide a glimpse into the world of the unseen.

Just as a good dream might be a sign of glad tiding a bad dream can also be a warning of something that can be affecting you.

Have you had any nightmares recently or consistently that you would like to share?

Sleep paralysis is defined as "a phenomenon in which an individual, either during falling asleep or awakening, briefly experiences an inability to move, speak, or react. It is a transitional state between wakefulness and sleep."

It is undoubtedly something that affects all people Muslims and non-Muslims alike at one point or another in their life time. Some believe it is a result of a supernatural force while others dismiss it as purely a psychological phenomenon.
